DIY platform builder
Wix, Squarespace or GoDaddy. £0 to build it yourself, but £17 to £45 a month forever, plus your own time to write and design it.
Guide
A straight answer, not a "contact us for pricing" page. Here is what the options actually cost, what changes the number, and where the ongoing fees hide.
The short answer
Wix, Squarespace or GoDaddy. £0 to build it yourself, but £17 to £45 a month forever, plus your own time to write and design it.
Typically £750 to £3,000 for a small business site, one-off, sometimes with a monthly hosting or maintenance add-on.
£3,000 upward, often £5,000+, aimed at businesses that need a marketing team behind the site rather than a working brochure.
What changes the price
A single scrolling page costs less than a five page site with a page for every service, because there is less to write and design.
A rebuild reuses existing wording and photos, so it is usually cheaper than starting from nothing, even though redirects and care around the switch add work.
A booking form, a self-updating gallery or a members area with its own admin screen are quoted on top, because each is effectively a small piece of software.
Wording drafted for you costs more up front than supplying finished copy yourself, but usually costs less than getting it wrong and paying to redo it later.
The hidden number
A £0 platform builder that charges £30 a month costs £1,080 over three years, more than a £950 fixed-price rebuild with no ongoing licence fee. The build price is only half the sum. Always ask what the site costs to keep running, not just what it costs to launch.

A free 20 minute call, a written quote, and a straight answer on whether a new site would make any difference to the business. If it would not, I will say so.
Only your name, email and a few lines are needed. The rest helps me quote properly.
